Ashuja’an Association Conference for Juvenile Diabetes is held on the International Diabetes’ Day each year, the month of November is diabetes awareness month. The international associations hold a conference for awareness of diabetes.
Held every year, our Sugar Camp is the highlight of many diabetic childrens’ summer vacation. The camp encourages healthy habits that are essential for T1D patients, such as blood sugar monitoring and nutrition.There are also camp sport days, which help our brave-hearted campers to integrate physical activity into their daily lives.
We host activities for students of all ages at schools throughout Israel’s Arab communities, inclusive of educational lectures and awareness assemblies. We also work to secure social services for T1D children at schools through nurses, counselors, and peer mediators.
Ahsuja’an provides comprehensive diabetes monitoring and support to every diabetic child who comes to our door. We never lose touch with our brave-hearted diabetes fighters.
Ashuja’an provides vital insulin pumps and medicine for children in the West Bank who are without medical insurance. Since opening in 2007, Ashuja’an has distributed the necessary supplies for diabetic children to maintain their health.
Diabetes Police it is the first and only in the world and it's the association original idea since 2013. Our elite unit is comprised of four Brave diabetics.
